By the numbers:

  • 3,339 – the monthly average number of text messages sent by the great American teenagers of today. Washington Post blogger referencing the Nielsen study here: Post Tech by Cecelia Kang.
  • Six times an hour: the way it works out is that teens average one text every ten minutes of their waking lives, or six texts per hour.
  • Every 74 minutes: How often Yellowstone’s Old Faithful geyser erupts.

Who’s the biggest texter of them all? America needs to know!
